About Emma Sayers Veterinary Physiotherapy

Emma Sayers Veterinary Physiotherapy provides a professional physiotherapy service for horses across Ireland.

Emma is a Chartered Physiotherapist (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) who also holds a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Veterinary Physiotherapy from Hartpury University/UWE. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT).
The skills and knowledge gained during extensive training is complemented by many years experience in the equine industry.
Emma has worked in different sectors of the industry including as a groom for some of Europe's top event riders. She has also been involved as a rider, owner and breeder.

Physiotherapy for horses aims to prevent, treat and rehabilitate. Therefore enabling the animal to participate in activities to the best of its ability. It can help to optimise performance in a competition horse and has a role in returning horses to its usual exercise or competition following injury.
